Advantages of the Millennium
Cannula:
Today, the surgeon inserts a blunt cannula into the adipose tissue, moving
it back and forth. Nothing happens until power suction is used: only by
using powerful suction fatty tissue drawn into the lumen of the cannula.
The fat is cut out by orifices along the metallic walls of the cannula:
the cannula moves along the edipose tissue, thus producing a shredding
effect. This effect is similiar to that achived by a greater, but the
greater is immobile, whereas the adipose tissue moves back and forth. in
actual fact, the cannula cuts the tissue.
Insertion of the blunt end of the cannula, a needle, a troacar or other
surgical instruments into the tissue is a traumatic procedure.
Luckily, fat tissue is a soft membrance. Sharp open- ended cannulas do
less demage in body lipoplastic surgery.
